Student Lead Ministry
Only 2% lead in today’s culture, the rest follow.
Today’s generation is being bombarded with lies about who we are, what we should be like, and what to believe. Many of us are trapped in self-mutilation (“cutting”), eating disorders, pornography, depression, thoughts of suicide and promiscuous sex. We are a generation in crisis, hurting and in desperate need of Jesus. It’s going to take young people to make a difference; it’s going to take Godly young leaders in this generation.
If previous generations were lackadaisical and lethargic about their faith, this one needs to be the opposite. Route77 Student Ministries is committed to providing opportunities and training for young people to reach their peers. To challenge them to take action and live without compromise.
The purpose of the Route77 student leadership program is to provoke a young generation to passionately pursue Jesus Christ, equipping them to become leaders and disciples following His example. Firm in truth and faith, loving God and loving people.
Through service, self discipline, and unwavering devotion we can lead our generation and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth!
Route77 Student Ministries has created two tracks of leadership training to help disciple tomorrows Godly leaders; LIFT and RISEUP.
During training students will be trained to develop spiritual disciplines like prayer, worship, fellowship and studying the Bible. We desire encounters with the living God and an obedient love for Jesus. When we are seeking fully after God, we are able to be used by God and reach our generation for His glory.
RISEUP (track 1) graduates will complete a seven session discipleship course from Ron Luce of Teen Mania Youth Ministries, author of “Battle Cry for a Generation”, where they will be challenged to:
- Escape the enemy’s expectations and lies
- Discover who they are in Christ
- Make a full-on no-compromise commitment to serving Jesus
- Make a serious impact for Jesus in their generation
- Live the rest of their lives as warriors for Christ
LIFT (track 2) graduates will engage in hands-on ministry training, where they will learn and apply valuable leadership skills and engage their peers with the message of Jesus Christ. Building relationships that make disciples.
- Leading in Prayer and Intercession
- Public speaking, teaching from the Bible. Sharing your faith.
- Relationship Building.
- Planning and organizing for events. Delegation and recruitment.
- Co-Leading a RISE UP Session
